Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about supplier coordination, IQC/OQC, assembly, packaging, rework, inventory and appointed-forwarder handover in China.

Answers to common questions from cross-border e-commerce and trading companies about pre-export fulfillment in China. The content reflects Changsheng’s currently confirmed service scope and boundaries.

Can multiple suppliers deliver to Changsheng for one project?

Yes. We can consolidate the supplier plan, coordinate staged or scheduled deliveries, and centralize receiving, SKU/quantity verification, IQC, exception follow-up and later consolidated outbound handling.

Can Changsheng inspect goods if we do not have a complete checklist?

Yes. We can propose practical checkpoints based on the product, use case and end-customer concerns, then execute only after the client confirms the criteria.

Can you inspect to AQL or a specified sampling ratio?

Yes. Clients can specify an AQL or sampling ratio together with the required checkpoints and acceptance criteria. Basic inspection does not replace laboratory, certification or destructive testing.

What happens when shortages, damage, specification or quality exceptions are found?

We record the issue type, quantity and photos and notify both client and supplier. If sampling exceeds the client’s accepted level, the client decides whether to use full inspection, return or another action. Approved rework, replenishment, replacement, repacking and re-inspection can then be coordinated.

What assembly and packaging work can Changsheng handle?

Depending on the project: parts assembly, kitting, instruction manual and accessory placement, simple adjustment, basic electronic assembly, bagging, boxing, sealing, repacking, gift-box assembly and outer-carton packing.

Can you apply FNSKU, SKU, barcode, carton-mark and warning labels?

Yes. After the client provides the correct files and placement requirements, we can apply product labels, FNSKU, SKU, barcodes, carton marks and warning labels and record versions and processed quantities as required.

Are reworked goods inspected again?

Yes. Reworked goods are re-inspected against the confirmed correction and acceptance requirements. Where OQC is required, the relevant points are checked again before outbound preparation.

Can goods be received and released in stages?

Yes. We can record staged arrivals by order, SKU and batch and handle or release goods in stages by client instruction while updating inventory, movement and exception records. Storage method and duration are assessed by project.

What is the difference between Changsheng and a freight forwarder?

Changsheng handles pre-export fulfillment between suppliers/factories and the client’s appointed freight forwarder: receiving, inspection, supplier exception coordination, assembly, packaging, labeling/rework, inventory, OQC and outbound handover. Freight booking, customs declaration and international transportation are handled separately.

Can you help source packaging or supporting suppliers?

Depending on the project, we can support packaging or supporting-supplier sourcing, communicate specifications and quotation information, compare options and connect confirmed materials to later fulfillment. This is sourcing support, not a full procurement agency or a commitment to fund purchases or assume supplier quality responsibility.

Can clients or third parties inspect onsite?

Yes. Clients or appointed third parties can arrange an onsite visit or inspection based on the project and operating schedule. Timing, personnel and inspection arrangements should be confirmed with Changsheng in advance.

What products or projects are not suitable for Changsheng?

Our current operation is not suitable for high-risk or sensitive goods, chemicals, e-cigarettes, flammable or explosive goods, projects generating exhaust gas, wastewater or toxic gases, or products requiring clean-room assembly. Projects requiring special qualifications must be confirmed first.

What inspection records or reports can Changsheng provide?

Depending on the project, Changsheng can provide inspection records or a Word inspection report with photos, covering quantity, appearance, specifications, basic function checks, exception ratios, issue photos and handling suggestions. The report format, sampling method and required fields should be confirmed before execution.

Can inventory be managed by order, SKU and batch?

Yes. Changsheng can record inbound goods, inventory, work status and outbound movements by order, SKU and batch. This is useful for multi-supplier projects, staged arrivals, kitting waits, rework and staged outbound. Operational records are progressively moving from Excel ledgers to Kingdee ERP.

What if multiple suppliers cannot deliver at the same time?

Staged receiving is possible. Before the project starts, the supplier list, SKUs, expected quantities and arrival plan should be organized. Changsheng records actual arrivals and updates inventory, then moves into assembly, packaging, OQC or consolidated outbound when the required materials are ready.

Can work start before all goods have arrived?

It can, depending on the project structure. The client should first confirm which SKUs or materials can be processed independently and which must wait for a complete set. Changsheng can separate arrived, inspection-pending, rework-pending, assembly-pending and completed status in the project records.

Can you replace instruction manuals, add accessories or rebuild kits?

Yes. For suitable manual-assembly projects, Changsheng can replace instruction manuals, add accessories, rebuild kits, repack and re-inspect according to a confirmed BOM, SOP or sample. Version files and accessory quantities should be confirmed before batch work begins.

Can Changsheng help source packaging suppliers if materials are not finalized?

Yes. Depending on the project, Changsheng can support packaging or supporting-supplier sourcing, communicate specifications and quotation information, compare options and coordinate client-approved materials into the fulfillment workflow. This is sourcing and procurement coordination, not a full procurement agency or purchase-financing service.

Does Changsheng handle booking, customs declaration or international transport?

No. Changsheng focuses on pre-export fulfillment between suppliers/factories and the client-appointed freight forwarder, including receiving, inspection, exception coordination, assembly, packaging, inventory, OQC and outbound handover. Booking, customs declaration and international transport are arranged by the client or appointed forwarder.

What information should be prepared before starting a project?

Useful inputs include product/SKU information, quantities, supplier list and contacts, expected arrival dates, inspection criteria or key checkpoints, assembly/packaging SOPs, label and instruction files, the final outbound milestone and appointed-forwarder information. Clearer inputs make the operating workflow easier to assess.
