Problem
Supplier arrivals may contain shortages, damage, specification differences, appearance defects or basic functional issues while the client is not physically present in China.
Risk
If an issue is only reported but not followed through, later assembly and outbound milestones can be delayed. Rework without client confirmation can also create responsibility and cost disputes.
How Changsheng Handles It
We summarize exception type, quantity and photos and communicate with the client and supplier. If sampling exceeds the client’s acceptable defect level, the client decides whether to use full inspection, return or another action. After approval, Changsheng can separately handle unpacking, rework, replenishment/replacement coordination, repacking and re-inspection.
Information We Need
Inspection criteria, exception rules, acceptable defect level, supplier contacts and client authorization rules for exception handling.
Records or Outputs
Exception list, quantities, photos, supplier response, handling progress, reworked quantity and re-inspection results.
Boundary
Returns, full inspection, cost allocation and supplier responsibility are confirmed by the client and relevant parties; the website does not pre-assign a responsible payer.
